For European users, data storage takes place within the EU, for users within the Nordic countries, storage takes place in the Nordics as well as Sweden. Your data is saved for a maximum of 24 months.

Your data is converted into machine-readable vectors that cannot be read or understood by humans. Your files are secure, protected and only accessible to the system and authorized parties.

In addition, the files are completely deleted from the system when you as the user choose to do so to ensure that no unwanted data remains.

No. The data is not used to train other AI solutions, but is only for you as a user.
Only a limited number of authorized employees and contracted third parties have access to your data. These parties are strictly bound by confidentiality and security requirements to ensure data integrity and security.

Personal data in PDF upload

When you upload your PDF documents to Theo, any personal data in the documents is handled with the utmost care by TQ Nordic.

Your documents are stored with TQ Nordic and are used solely for Theo to be able to read and interpret the information. After 30 days, your uploaded documents are automatically deleted. OpenAI assists Theo in understanding and processing your documents, but does not store the information on its servers.

If you desire further anonymity, there is a free online tool available to easily anonymize your PDF documents. You can find the tool here. We have also made a guide that describes how the tool works.
